The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a perhaps of the most exciting cars to emerge from the Korean in the last few years. With graceful styling, performance prowess, and a competitive price, the Genesis Coupe appears to be a sports car that certainly stands out in its respective segment.

One of the best features of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is simply its styling. Aggressive, distinctive, but not over the top, customers at one dealer specializing in used cars Kingston have noted repeatedly the Genesis Coupe is incredibly good looking. Its angular shape and dramatic color options make the Genesis Coupe a cool car to drive, but it doesn’t have a polarizing design as is the case with some of its competitors.

Powering the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a 3.2-liter V6 that produces 306 horsepower. Under heavy acceleration, this V6 comes alive and according to South New Jersey Hyundai even sounds more like a V8 than a V6. The available Track Package should make the Genesis Coupe appealing to even the most performance-minded driving enthusiasts as it adds sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and 19 inch wheels. Best of all, the suspension delivers all the handling that any sports car driver would crave without the harsh ride.

The interior of the Genesis Coupe is just as attractive as the exterior. The interior design is sporty, but clean, with a very organized layout and upscale feel. Materials are excellent as observed by customers at a car dealership Poughkeepsie and sport seats are also available with the Track Package. As one would expect, the rear seats of this sports car are not roomy, but upfront there is plenty of space.

While a fully loaded Hyundai Genesis Coupe can easily reach the low $30K mark, it isn’t necessarily cheap. But considering the performance and quality, the Genesis Coupe certainly provides value, which is what all Hyundai models have become known for. [click to continue…]

Cash-for-Guzzlers Bill Signed into Law

by New York Car Dealer News on June 26, 2009

The U.S. government is working hard to give the auto industry the boost it needs to get back on track. One recent move to help is the Cash-for-Guzzlers bill. Having passed both houses of Congress, it has officially been signed into law by the President. Regulations will now be put into place to make it a reality.

Cash-for-Guzzlers is a program that was funded as part of a robust spending proposal totaling $106 billion. In total the Cash-for-Guzzlers program specifically will cost merely $1 billion, which Used Cars Poughkeepsie says is intended to keep the program running until September.

Cash for Guzzlers imageThis new program gives vouchers to consumers for up to $4,500 towards new cars if they exchange a gas guzzling car for a fuel efficient car explains Rental Cars South Jersey. Initially, the proposal had difficulties as some senators felt it was too advantageous for Detroit, while foreign automakers also deserved assistance due to their extensive domestic manufacturing operations.

Cars that will be affected by the new Cash-for-Guzzlers program are those that are older and achieve less than 18 miles per gallon in combined city/highway driving says Syracuse NY Suzuki. For drivers of these vehicles that purchase a new vehicle that is at least 4 miles per gallon more efficient, they would qualify for $3,500. For those that boost their mileage by over 10 miles per gallon, New Jersey Hyundai say they become eligible to receive the full $4,500 tax credit. Trading in a truck, car buyers will have to yield a 2 mpg improvement and a 5 mile improvement respectively to qualify for the vouchers. [click to continue…]
